It also caused my tyre to blow, I am concerned that the timeframe for repair according to the information above is 6 months!? If a motorcyclist or cyclist hits this it will cause a major accident or even fatality

Whilst we appreciate your concerns, we can confirm that the defect will be repaired within the next 6 months, although we will, of course, try to repair it sooner. Please be assured, that in the meantime, we will continue to monitor the area as part of our routine inspections.

The potholes are quickly getting worse and the 6 month time schedule is ridiculous. The whole section of highway is in a poor state of repair with crazing, cracking and more potholes from the main roundabout to the Hardingstone and Wootton Fields roundabout. You need to revise your so-called checks because they are clearly not identifying potential safety hazards.
