Edges of road eroded to dangerous depth

This road is a route used by HS2 traffic and very large agricultural vehicles and horse boxes. The sides have been eroded in a section to such an extent that any normal car, motorbike or cycle would be in danger if they had to move off the main carriage way.

We are pleased to confirm that the carriageway defects that meet the specifications for remedial work, have a repair scheduled to resolve them. This should be completed within six months’ time.
