Dangerous drop on edge of road
Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 19:29, Sun 23 January 2022
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3261352.
Verge/ditch has been removed/dug out leaving the edge of the road with an immediate and dangerouus drop of around 0.75-1 meters at the very edge of the white line markng the edge of the tarmac. If a vehicle's wheels are on that edge there is a risk of them leaving the road causing a rollover RTC, rather than what woul normally happen of the verge potetially slowing them and keeping them within the limits of the carriageway. This is a national speed limit applies secion of road with no lighting. Just prior to entrance to Rignall on nearisde coming from MCDonalds RB. This needs urgent warning tape/barriers until a long term fix can be made please.
