Large pothole along Burghley St Kettering
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3263264.
The potholes were reported along Burghley Street Kettering and some were repaired on January 21st but in front of No24 and No 18 which are joint neighbours there is a large one which didn’t get repaired, talking to the workmen at the time, they said that they couldn’t repair them because the holes had not been marked, the problem was a car being parked there at the time of marking, l can understand the problem you have with this, but is there any chance of getting it repaired, because myself at No18 and my neighbour No24 have a white line across our drive’s which we need repainting when the holes have been repaired, kind regards Wayne Harrison.

Thank you for your enquiry, site visited.works have been instructed and will be undertaken within 26 for carriageway patches, remarking white lines has been forwarded to the line marking programme to be undertaken within 12 months.

Regarding Ref No 3263264, I’m not sure what’s going on, because workmen arrived here to repair the potholes marked with the yellow lines on Tuesday 1st Feb at 1-30 pm, they put bollards all round the area where they were to work and after 20 minutes they said that the holes were bigger than first thought and that they hadn’t got enough tarmac on their vehicle to do the job, and said they would come back another day. Then yesterday Thursday 3rd Feb 1-30 pm workmen arrived and repainted the white lines across the driveway on top of the potholes before the road had been repaired. Regards Wayne Harrison.

Thank you for your enquiry, site visited. There is still an existing ticket for the rest of the potholes to be repaired. The issue regarding white lining has also been forwarded to the lining programme to be completed.
