Highways verge. Tree on left is very overgrown and is growing through the cables of the BT Pole.

  • Thank you for your enquiry concerning the condition of the vegetation in this area. We can confirm that the vegetation was attended to last summer, and there are currently no highway safety concerns. Whilst we appreciate your comments, there is no legal requirement to remove or even prune trees for the benefit of overhead cables, we only undertake works to keep highway users safe. If the tree is growing very close to, through or affecting overhead lines you should contact the relevant utility company. Apologies that we are unable to assist further.
