Tree obscuring warning sign for zebra crossing and 20mph sign. As you come along banbury rd the signage for the crossing and the 20mph sign are barely visible to traffic as the tree needs cutting back.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. The property responsible will be contacted requesting the obscuring overgrowth is cut back to provide clear view of the sign. A revisit will be carried out 14 days after contact has been made.

  • The picture posted is really old - probably last summer looking at the trees with leaves! I have attached a picture from this afternoon, which shows that it’s not a major issue for now. The tree itself sits within the boundary for the old church which has been vacant for a couple of years now. When I was having a few trees trimmed outside my house (which is next door) I had the the worst offending branch removed as it was overhanging our boundary. So the picture I have posted shows what it is really like now.
