Overgrown Tree

Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 12:33, Thursday 10 February 2022

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3302875.

I would like to report street lamp number L2LKN next to no.19 Woburn Gate Ecton Brook. The conifer trees from the garden are totally covering the street lamp making it in effective. They’ve cut the bottom of the trees back but need to clear around the lamp itself by 1.5m minimum

Whilst we appreciate your comments, the location of the vegetation that you have identified is not on the adopted highway. Unfortunately it is therefore the responsibility of the private landowner to maintain and is outside Northamptonshire Highways’ control. Nevertheless, we have written to the landowner requesting that the vegetation is cut back within the next two weeks. We will endeavour to revisit the site following the two weeks’ notice period.
