Metal rod protruding onto access steps
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3397227.
These steps are in bad repair, have no handrail (none of steps on The Grove have handrails) and there is now a metal bar protruding - extremely dangerous. Steps located opposite Browns Close entrance. Have tried for nearly 25 yrs to get better access from Browns Close onto the Grove for pedestrians. Can’t get buggies up these steps and have to push grandchildren down middle of the road as cars usually parked all down the road. Please can you look at this. So unsafe for all residents and especially hopeless for elderly. Thankyou

With reference to your request for handrails, we have included for consideration from our small works budget allocation which is subject to feasibility and budget allocation. We shall endeavour to undertake the improvement works if this criteria is met.
