Five trees need attention

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3431621.

There are five trees along Folly Road which are small and in need of attention. Two are dead, Two are dead from their main stem but the epicormic growth is overtaking and one looks poor. Please can you remove these five poor specimens, including grinding out their stumps as this would help when mowing the verge.

  • Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the tree in this location. We can confirm that a site visit has been undertaken to determine which tree requires attention. Subsequently, we are pleased to advise that a tree report will be carried out by our specialist arboriculturist contractor. Any recommended tree works identified in the report will be programmed to be carried out; this should be concluded within a months’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded.
