12 inch pothole towards centre of road.

Pothole in centre of road getting bigger and will cause damage to vehicles, there are many smaller potholes in the near surrounding area

  • Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of this section of Burford Avenue. We are pleased to confirm that the carriageway defects that meet the specifications for remedial work, have a repair scheduled to resolve them. This should be completed within six months’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded. We usually find these defects are tended to within 13 weeks.

  • Please note, the pothole reported above is causing dangerous problems caused by vehicles parking adjacent to the forcing passing vehicles over the pothole, this was reported some time ago by myself and no action so far, my neighbours and I have to use this route to get to our houses and if any damage is caused by having to drive over the pothole we will be contacting WNC for compensation.
