No traffic managemdnt for residents

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3484997.
There is no management of the traffic which is trying to escape the temporary lights. There should be an agreed diversion and management of the traffic to ensure it is not using the surrounding residential roads. The amount of traffic and the dangerous driving is not acceptable.

Thank you for your enquiry. A diversion cannot be installed as there is no road closure in place. However, special signs will be erected to advise motorists to follow the main route through the works. Slow signs will also be erected along Oaklands Drive, Westone Avenue & Fir Tree Walk. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

I am not satisfied with the response. For such major works you need to take responsibility. The signage erected is very poor as not far enough in advance of works and too difficult to comprehend. With such a busy junction there is bound to be traffic trying to find a way around and you have to be responsible for it.
