  • Thank you for your enquiry. I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. Advanced warning signs were erected detailing the dates and times of the closure, a factsheet was also distributed to local residents and businesses. Again, apologies for any inconvenience caused.

  • Not a satisfactory response, notice was certainly not given to all residents with exception of a very basic sign at the site.

    Best Regards Nick Robinson

  • Thank you for your further comments and we are sorry to hear of your disappointment. We have re-inspected the road works signage and this is to the correct and required standard. We are unable to control driver behaviour and, as the surrounding roads are not closed, are not able to stop motorist choosing alternative routes. We have been promoting the works Web info Booth+Lane+South+-+Letter.pdf (https://static1.squarespace.com/ static/ 5bd6f9d10cf57d914823e6b4/ t/ 62559077f1b7d41bfd145459/ 1649774712873/ Booth+Lane+South+-+Letter.pdf ) and online and using Twitter @nnhighways. A letter drop to the immediately affected area has been undertaken and advance warning signs were also used. We hope that this information has been of help.
