Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3539427.

There is silt build-up in drains along overstone road, near prince of wales entrance. Please can drains in the area be cleaned.

  • Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the drain gullies in this area. We can confirm that there are no immediate safety concerns relating to this issue that warrant further investigation or repair at this time. Please be assured that we will continue to monitor the area as part of our routine inspections. However, we are pleased to confirm that cyclic cleansing of the drains and gullies on the adopted highway will commence, in the near future. If a flooding emergency occurs, call 0300 126 7000 for West Northamptonshire Council and 0300 126 3000 for North Northamptonshire Council. Outside of these hours please ring 01604 651074. This number is for issues relating to West Northamptonshire Council and North Northamptonshire Council.
