Overgrown domestic hedge -number 27 Bridle Way - owner needs to cut it back by 2 to 3 feet. Please can we have our footpath back. It is difficult to push a wheelchair on the grass verge

Thank you for your enquiry. Whilst we appreciate your comments, the location of the vegetation that you have identified is not on the adopted highway. Unfortunately it is therefore the responsibility of the private landowner to maintain and is outside Northamptonshire Highways’ control. Nevertheless, we have written to the landowner requesting that the vegetation is cut back within the next two weeks. We will endeavour to revisit the site following the two weeks’ notice period.
