  • Thank you for your enquiry. Whilst we appreciate your comments, the location of the vegetation that you have identified is not on the adopted highway. Unfortunately it is therefore the responsibility of the private landowner to maintain and is outside Northamptonshire Highways’ control. Nevertheless, we have written to the landowner requesting that the vegetation is cut back within the next two weeks. We will endeavour to revisit the site following the two weeks’ notice period.

  • This has still not been cut back and is forcing us into the road with a buggy. I know that this is the responsibility of the house owner but they have not done it! Can you please look into this urgently and have it rectified?

  • This is causing a danger to anyone who walks along the path. Children walk to school using the path and have to go close to the path edge/into the road. It is obstructing a public path/space. Surely you can cut it back the same as if my neighbours hedge was coming into my garden? If it’s cost then you can bill the owner.

  • Has this been viewed as suggested? It is still an issue, it is still a danger. The response to this has been awful. Please can we have an update.

  • Could you please revisit or write to the land owner again please? This path is now 100% unusable, at least it will become a highways issue soon when it starts blocking the carriageway.
