This is the second time this has happened here, I know there are dead end signs and temporary signs stating road closed ahead, no doubt the vehicle was written off looking at the bits left behind as was the vehicle in the first incident, however, they are Black Bollards with a very small reflector on and the lighting is not very good, could some additional chevrons or chequer board whatever is allowed be erected across the end of the road to make it a bit more visible. The Emergency Services have better things to do than attend unnecessary incidents that could be prevented with a bit more signage. I do know that the Fire Service and Ambulance had to attend the first incident.

This is actually the 3rd time this has happened in 2 years and 4 months. For info there is an approved planning application for a new secondary school on this piece of road, that may influence the drivers who use this road with no regard for the signage indicating the road is closed and a no through route. If someone had been on the footpath adjacent to the bund this could have resulted in serious injury. Please bear this in mind for scheduling of repairs
