Footpath overgrown with nettles safety concern ad used by school children

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3575406.

Children use oath to walk to school bus on what is already a narrow path with large vehicles passing, path has now become very overgrown with nettles and needs clearing to be a safe footway

  • Thank you for your enquiry. We have inspected and there is a small section of the footpath which has nettles alongside it. We have raised a 26 week ticket to get them removed, however it is a small job and hope that this will be completed in the next six weeks.
