Road markings need repainting
Reported via desktop in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category anonymously at 15:28, Wed 8 June 2022
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3581249.
The School Zone areas either side of the zebra crossing on Vernon Road were reported last year (ref: 2735388). The wording School + Zone were repainted but the red tarmac wasn't repaired/replaced. I appreciate that this probably isn't cost effective, but can the school warning sign between the lettering on both sites be repainted as an alternative? The centre line markings between the zebra crossing and the j/w A5 need repainting and are virtually non-existent. The double yellow lines between Southgate Drive and the j/w A5 on the eastern side of the carriageway need repainting and are virtually non-existent. The fingerboards opposite the j/w Islington Road are dirty and obscured by overhanging vegetation in both directions of travel.
