A neighbour has put a sign on the grass verge saying, Do not park on this grass verge.

Does he have the right to do this? Beanfield Ave, just down from the bottle neck.

  • An inspection of the site has been scheduled for w/c 13/06. However, signs such as this are not legal to remain within the adopted highway and it should be removed.

  • Letter will go out to property w/c 11/07 requiring that they remove the sign. Follow-up set for w/c 25/07.

  • This sign is still on the grass verge

  • This sign is still on the grass verge but he has now put a metal post behind the sign. Who would be liable if anyone tripped over this? What about damaging a council grass cutter. Could you advised, it is illegal to park on grass verges? I myself don't as have a driveway for my cars
