Bushes on bend

Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility category anonymously at 16:15, Sunday 12 June 2022

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3589828.

Bushes are well overgrown on bend so when a car has stopped to turn right into country park you cannot see them until you are actually round the bend. You are outside the 30mph zone there so cars are just beginning to accelerate. Bushes are hiding the sign for the country park as well. If the bushes are trimmed will allow you to see a car has stopped waiting to turn.

  • Are the council waiting the trees to completely block the sign and cause a car crash. The grass verge has been cut but the issue is the trees. Visible signs are that someone has tried to bend the branches but this has still not worked very well. Accident waiting to happen or is this what the council wants!!!!!
