Over grown grass

Reported via desktop in the Weeds category anonymously at 10:37, Tuesday 14 June 2022

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3595135.

Enquiry details: As you drive from Kettering to Corby, the first major roundabout you come to on Uppingham Road (the one where you have the petrol station, McDonalds, Beefeater pub, Aldi etc.) is currently very dangerous. The simple reason? Grass. Over the last week i have been involved in 3 near misses due to the fact that the grass inbetween to the sides of the road and the roundabout itself is so high that you cannot see (unless you are high up in a lorry/van) any approaching cars. This is so dangerous it must be resolved IMMEDIATELY! Otherwise you are putting lives at risk

  • I just went on to report this same issue, it is really dangerous as the overgrown grass obstructs the view of cars on the roundabout. This should be more urgent than 'within a month'!!!!!! It has already been a week since it was first reported.
