The new traffic lights at the junction of station road / A509 Isham

Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 11:31, Friday 17 June 2022

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3603543.

These traffic lights need the timing set better , when you pull out from station road while its still on green the ones on A509 have already changed to green as well .There doesnt seem to be any delay between them . I should think as soon as the station road one goes off green the A509 one chances to green . I cannot report this under the traffic signals form as it doesnt seem to have been updated yet

  • This is still a problem, the traffic on A509 gets a green light whilst traffic emerging out of Station Road on a green light turning right have not reached the centre of the A509! Giving the impression to traffic on A509 that the emerging vehicles must have run a red light when in fact they have travelled through a green light
