Blocked surface water drain

I have a blocked surface water drain on the end of my drive number 21 Alnwick close . I have been advised by a plumber he will not clear it as it is highways who are responsible to maintain but I am not sure. It does not show on street doctor so have selected the closest.

  • Thank you for your enquiry, concerning the condition of the drainage in this area. Whilst we appreciate your concerns, we can confirm that the location of this drain is not on the adopted highway, and is the responsibility of the private landowner to maintain. Apologies that we are unable to assist further with this matter.
