Chevron sign knocked over by car
Reported via desktop in the Damaged / Missing / Facing Wrong Way category anonymously at 20:28, Wednesday 22 June 2022
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3616522.
The first chevron sign marking the beginning of the very sharp, 90 degree bend in the road was knocked over by a car in April 2022. Some plastic upright markers were also damaged. This chevron was added to the corner following a spate of accidents about 12 years and it has been wonderfully effective. Espacially at night, it is very difficult to see that the road curves to the left and what carries on straight is just a bridleway before it's too late. We would be grateful if this sign could be repaired as soon as possible please. Many thanks and regards.
