Dangerous drop from road

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3617252.

Verge destroyed by vehicles parking and by flooding from drain that is frequently overwhelmed during heavy rainfall thunderstorms. Road surface now 6 inches above degraded verge

Whilst we appreciate and sympathise with your comments, we can confirm that there are no immediate safety concerns relating to this issue that warrant further investigation or repair at this time. However, please be assured that we will continue to monitor the area as part of our routine inspections.

  • This was reported at 09:30 on the 23rd June. Your own Highways inspection team highlighted the fault with yellow marker paint at ~13:00 on the same day but at 10:55 on the 24th you say that it's not a problem.

    If it isn't a problem, why did Highways spray it with yellow paint?
