Please accept our sincerest apologies for the delay in responding to your enquiry. This was due to an administrative error on our side. Unfortunately, the location of the vegetation hiding the sign is not on the adopted highway. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the private landowners to maintain and is outside Northamptonshire Highways’ control. Nevertheless, we have written to the residents requesting that the vegetation is cut back more within the next 14 days. We will then re-visit the area to check that this has been done.

I don't accept this excuse. Signage Is responsibility of Highways Vegetation overhanging onto Highways land can be cut back by the authority. Suggest you install signage on posts near road edge, as most signage is. Fed up with traffic hold up in peak times, such a simple fix
