Drain blocked by all sorts of debris , there is a tube sticking out with a lot of water coming out of it. It is outside of number 23 on Palmerston road. They are afraid of the flooding into their basement as it will soon be raining and they have a lot of electrical equipment down there.

Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the drain gullies in this area. We can confirm that there are no immediate safety concerns relating to this issue that warrant further investigation or repair at this time. Please be assured that we will continue to monitor the area as part of our routine inspections. However, we are pleased to confirm that cyclic cleansing of the drains and gullies on the adopted highway will commence, in the near future. If a flooding emergency occurs, call 0300 126 7000 for West Northamptonshire Council and 0300 126 3000 for North Northamptonshire Council. Outside of these hours please ring 01604 651074.
