Dead tree on roadside verge.

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3633127.
Dead tree on road side verge (Gilbert Scott Court) requires removal. Possibility that rot may weaken the tree and present a hazard to the public in the future. Cause of tree death unknown but first noticed this growing season.

Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the vegetation here. Whilst we appreciate your comments, the location of the vegetation that you have identified is not on the adopted highway. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the private landowner to maintain and is outside Northamptonshire Highways’ control. Nevertheless, we have written to the resident requesting that the vegetation is cut back more within the next 14 days.

The A5 from OldStratford to Towcester to almost to dangerous to use the size of the pot holes and is getting worse daily.When is this being repaired before a fatal accident happens

This road is now an absolute nightmare to drive on especially in the dark and really needs repairing considering how the A5 is a major road
