I have raised this previous request on 2 occasions: - (I have raised this issue before (6+ months ago) and have seen very little evidence of resolution. Signs - Chevrons - Verge Markers are either missing, damaged, dirty, facing wrong way. Speed limits that were sprayed over whilst debacle of road surface dressing earlier this year not removed. Please can an audit be carried out of all signage from Brackley to Middleton Cheney along B422 via Farthinghoe. Evidence last week of a vehicle leaving the road (close to Farthinghoe Recycling Centre). Will it take a serious accident to resolve this issue. Appreciate that resources may be limited but this road is seeing increased levels of traffic as Brackley grows and motorists use to avoid M40.) and still no action appears to have taken place and my last report 3161879 status has changed to fixed - WHY? - The issues are still there - and as mentioned before, since initially raising more evidence of vehicles leaving the highway - most recently the bridge at Farthinghoe Recycling Centre being struck. Please, Please review as to change this to 'Fixed' seems bizarre as signs and markers are still:- Damaged, Missing, Facing Wrong Way etc...

Thank you for your enquiry, concerning road signage in this area. We can confirm that all signs on this road from the A43 at Brackley to M40 junction were cleaned and turned to face the correct direction in January, and also the signs that were missing were renewed, which is why the previous report was closed. Upon inspection this week we can confirm that we have made further arrangements to clear the vegetation that is obscuring signage. This will be completed within the next 2 months.
