Block of Concrete Has Fallen Off

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3686569.

On the Big round about near the Brooke street Long stay car park, there is a foot path that goes under the round about a big block on concrete has fallen from the top of the bridge, also noticed cracking of the foundations.

  • Thank you for your enquiry and for safely moving the concrete copings out of the way. We have inspected the subway, and the remaining copings are secure. We have raised a defect to replace the damaged, bespoke copings. We are required to repair damage to highway structures within 24 months, however we anticipate this to be completed before then.
