Overgrown, overhanging trees

Reported via mobile in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 14:36, Friday 22 July 2022

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3698730.

The trees are so overgrown that the lay-by just beyond picture 2 and 3 is no longer visible. Pulling out from the lay-by (picture 1) is hazardous especially if the oncoming traffic is doing over the 30mph speed limit which is what often happens. It is even more of a problem to pedestrians especially if they are elderly with poor mobility and deafness. (My 91 year old father struggles to cross safely). It used to be possible to see the lay-by from Orchard Street ( picture 2, now you can only just see the red car on the opposite side of the road to the lay-by. Someone had already died just below where picture 2 was taken from. This has been an on going issue for some years.
