Vegetation from tree all over my garden and it's going to get worse

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3702408.
Iv placed a report about this sycamore tree invading my garden by dropping all its leaves and branches all over my bungalow, inside the engine of my new car, now its dropping its seeds all in my garden and not only is it a mess, also too much for me to keep clearing up as I'm disabled and struggle to walk let alone constantly sweep my house and garden of the seeds and leaves and branches. It has lifted all the public footpath and the tarmac is all lifted. You say that you have been out and visited the tree and say that it is fine. I think you must be joking, because in the 2 years that I have lived here, iv witnessed 2 people falling from the uneven and raised root area of the tree on the tarmac. There are 2 trees outside my property and I can live with the other one as it doesn't cause many problems, but this sycamore needs to go. Please can you point me in the right direction of who to contact, if you can't help. Would it be my local MP???. Thanks, Mrs TK walker.

Thank you for your further enquiry relating to the tree at this location. Please note that the trees and footway adjacent to the properties at this location do not form part of the public highway and maintenance is the responsibility of North Northamptonshire Council property services who can be contacted here: https://www.northnorthants.gov.uk/ contactus. In Law there is no legal obligation for a tree owner, private or public, to prune trees in order to prevent branches spreading over a boundary, unless structural damage is caused. There is a common law right which permits a person (or their agent i.e. tree surgeon, gardener, etc) to prune back any growth of tree, shrub etc to the line of their boundary, e.g. fence line, as long as any cuttings are disposed of in a responsible manner and the health of the tree is not adversely affected (i.e. cuttings not dumped on public property or private land). Furthermore, Northamptonshire Highways can accept no responsibility for the tree leaf litter, seed drop, sap exudations etc, as these are natural physiological occurrences only to be expected by trees and do not undertake tree works to facilitate the prevention of leaf litter, seed or sap drop in gardens or footpaths.

I’m getting fed up with having no response to my problems with this flippin tree, it’s getting ridiculous now and can’t believe that I don’t have any joy. My house is now getting covered with the leaves and seeds that are shaped like balls and my puppy thinks that they taste nice. I swear that if anything happens to my very expensive puppy, someone will be made to pay. A very angry Mrs walker.
