This hedge is full of brambles and overgrown. It is encroaching on the pavement and covers the maintenance strip of grass. Can you please ask the homeowner to get this cut back and take the appropriate action as necessary to ensure this is done.

Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the vegetation here. Whilst we appreciate your comments, the location of the vegetation that you have identified is not on the adopted highway. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the private landowners to maintain and is outside Northamptonshire Highways’ control. Nevertheless, we have written to the residents requesting that the vegetation is cut back more within the next 14 days.
