Overgrown hedge blocking the footpath

Hi The overgrown hedge is obstructing the footpath and making pedestrians to walk on the road. It is difficult for people with stroller. Please have a look and do the needful.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. Whilst we appreciate your comments, the location of the vegetation that you have identified is not on the adopted highway. Unfortunately it is therefore the responsibility of the private landowner to maintain and is outside Northamptonshire Highways’ control. Nevertheless, we have written to the landowner requesting that the vegetation is cut back within the next two weeks. We will endeavour to revisit the site following the two weeks’ notice period.
