Footpath / Cycle path between Ransome Rd/Delapre and University of Northampton partially blocked

Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 23:46, Thursday 4 August 2022

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3731970.

The Footpath / Cycle path between the non vehicular end of Ransome Rd/Delapre and University of Northampton is partially blocked by overgrown vegetation and nettles. I am a wheelchair user and it is now not possible to traverse this section of public footpath without getting severly stung by the massive overgrown nettles.

  • I would add to that. It is becoming difficult to pass due to nettles and thorns. This is the worst I've seen it in 3 years.
