Hanks for your enquiry - This has been passed to BT Openreach andcCity Fibre as they have both worked at this location Both have visited Customer and will fix problems reported to Hiways

Reinstatement is poor and a trip hazard

This is a hazard and not to highways/streetworks specification art standard, if this is not the councils concern then whose is it? I write due to the reply to my last issue was closed as not a concern!

  • You have informed me the works have been passed with one contractor carrying out works on Friday. This is a mess! The damage to the 450 year old grade 2 listed building is not in keeping to the property and is indeed the wrong location. the repair to the footpath is some sort of joke and not to street works standards, the block paving repair is not much better and where the plant has been other areas have sunk - this needs removing and replacing fully, there are also diesel spillage on the tarmac - I could go on, I have no faith the works will be rectified as they should. Please clarify the position before I take this further.
