Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3738080.

Number 1 Parkfield Road has a diseased tree outside her property-This is hanging over a public pathway. A Fallen large branch is now a problem (ON THE PATHWAY) There are a lot of elderly residents that use the pathway (some with scooters and walking aids). Can we chop down the diseased tree asap. Thank you

  • Branch was removed with first report (ref: 3688342), but tree was not chopped and removed. Photos show large split/crack in trunk and bark falling off, thereby diseased, (previous branches falling off), so is PRIORITY 2 of ‘TREE MANAGEMENT POLICY’ and 2nd photo shows large branch overhanging public footpath. Please chop down tree.

We are pleased to advise that a tree report will be carried out by our specialist arboriculturist contractor. Any recommended tree works identified in the report will be programmed to be carried out; this should be concluded within a months’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded.
