Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3738283.

Path ER8 Everdon. I have walked ER8 for almost 30 years. The lanowner has moved the route AND finger post to the south of his garden at Bullshill Farm. I have seen no diversion order to enable this. This either needs putting back on the Definitive Route or the persuance of a diversion order. I would not object to this diversion, as it avoids the farmyard and garden.

  • We can confirm that we are in the process of contacting the private landowner, in order to discuss this matter further. We will provide a further comprehensive response as soon as we are able. Thanks again for reporting this we have made a site visit but unable to make contact with anyone on site in relation to ownership so we will now be contacting the owner in writing to ensure path is put on the legal line, we will be reinspecting the location in 6 weeks to check work has been completed.
