At the junction of Grafton Way and Pitchley Way there are 5 drains that are not able to carry away the water and flood

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3760148.

The juction of Pitchley Way and Grafton Way has 5 drains that do not carry away rain water and have been continually flooding homes and water goes clear across the carriageway each time it rains heavily. This has been going on for years and has gotten worse. Drives on Grafton way 55, to 62 have flooding down into their garages each time there is a heavy rain. Urgently needs recifitying.

Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the drains in this section of Grafton Way. We are pleased to confirm that the problem you have indicated in this location, has a work order to investigate, clean and test the gully. This should hopefully be completed within 24 hours’ time.
