Rubber ramps screwed to road near kerbside on Langley Way, Kettering

Reported via mobile in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 23:05, Sat 20 August 2022

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3769432.

4 rubber ramps have today been screwed to the road by the kerb outside 20 Langley Way, Kettering, so that the owner can drive their vehicle up and over the footpath to get onto their driveway. The ramps appear to be in replacement of the wooden ones that were originally put down (this was reported some time ago) that subsequently got damaged by a delivery van and removed. The ramps are not road user friendly as you have to manoeuvre around them if parking in the street. The ramps are also next to a drain, so possibly blocking rain water thus causing pooling and potentially flooding.
