Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category by Mr David Moat at 13:25, Thu 25 August 2022
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later.
I am visually impaired and had my face scratched by the vegation overgrowing the wall overloking the brook at Spinney Hill park on Brook Street. It is maily ivy and bramble. The wall on the west side of Brook Street is about 10-15 metres I tink. (Just past Jesters and the entrance to the park.

Thank you for your enquiry. Whilst we appreciate your comments, the location of the vegetation that you have identified is not on the adopted highway. Unfortunately it is therefore the responsibility of the private landowner to maintain and is outside Northamptonshire Highways’ control. Nevertheless, we have written to the landowner requesting that the vegetation is cut back within the next two weeks. We will endeavour to revisit the site following the two weeks’ notice period.
