Road markings on roundabout virtually non existent

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3788528.

Nearly got taken out on the roundabout by car failing to stop at the roundabout, had to go round again to take action to avoid collision. Cars travelling at speed thinking it’s a filter like the left hand lane leaving Moulton Park - lines on the roundabout are virtually non existent, dangerous & surprised if not already been accidents there.

  • I have already complained about this issue and that the adjacent sign showing which lane to use on the roundabout has been removed/stolen, yet been Fobbed off. Almost daily my or one of my business vehicles have to avoid collisions from vehicles in the right lane cutting into the left lane on or immediately after the roundabout. The, worn, markings are grossly insufficient to inform road users that both lanes flow right at the roundabout. Users in the right lane cannot see that this applies to vehicles in the left. Get it sorted, stop making excuses.

  • Now 6 months since reported the non existent road markings and nothing has been done. Travel this way regularly & quite often see a car travelling so fast approaching the roundabout there is no way it would be able to stop to give way to a vehicle on the roundabout. With no road markings they just think it’s an additional lane out of Moulton Park & are driving fast as use it try & get past the cars on the filter lane, oblivious to anyone that maybe coming from the right on the roundabout.
