Overgrown hedge blocking pavement

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3796284.
Hedge is growing over footpath and with cars constantly parked on footpath pedestrians have to walk in road on blind corner, impossible for disability vehicles to negotiate, overgrown hedge is length of several houses.

Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the vegetation here. Whilst we appreciate your comments, the location of the vegetation that you have identified is not on the adopted highway. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the private landowners to maintain and is outside Northamptonshire Highways’ control. Nevertheless, we have written to the residents requesting that the vegetation is cut back more within the next 14 days.
