The light above the zebra crossing cannot be seen due to tree

The light above the zebra crossing nearest to Greenell Close Deanshanger can no longer shed light on the crossing as it is covered by vegetation (tree). It os a safety issue as pedestrians cannot be seen trying to cross.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Regarding the vegetation adjacent to Stratford Road, we are pleased to confirm that a works order has been raised to cut back this vegetation from the zebra crossing. This should be completed within sixmonths’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded.
