Metal channel projecting into carriageway after utility works

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3807011.

A pre-existing metal drainage channel outside No. 91 Hallwood Road has been damaged by utility works. the end of the channel is now projecting into the carriageway with the risk of damaging vehicles and injuring pedestrians.

  • To assist your investigation, I took this pic the other day. As you can see, the metal channel is projecting circa 100mm beyond the kerb, is angled and risks damaging tyres of parking cars or pedestrians. This was not an issue before Citifibre undertook their works.
