Overgrown vegetation

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3807441.

Public footpath very overgrown with vegetation also on the steps to cross A6 very overgrown making it difficult to see when the road is safe to cross, both sides of the A6 and the steps further down the A6 towards Rothwell are very overgrown and dangerous to use.

  • Investigation: Completed (Highways to Monitor, Routine Inspection Programme) - Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention, regarding the vegetation adjacent to the A6. We have conducted a site visit and can confirm that there are no immediate safety concerns relating to this issue that warrant further action at this time. As the vegetation is not causing a safety issue with the highway user, no further action will be taken.
