Bad camber causes flooding

Reported via mobile in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 11:56, Wednesday 7 September 2022

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3809191.

As reported two days ago AND MULTIPLE TIMES!!! The camber on Ashton road entering Amberly road causes all excess rain water which is alot in heavy rain to pour down Amberley road which floods Blacksmiths road and our homes. Stop ignoring this and just clearing gullies and completing the report. You need to come and inspect the road when I have phoned the emergency number when our homes are getting flooded and explain the rain water isn't flowing down Ashton road and instead pouring down Amberley road I'm told " that shouldn't happen and we will get this looked at" you havent looked at it your not trying to sort it. Clearing the drains isn't the main problem. It was already investigated and found the pipes are too small in the drains months ago and still nothing has been done. So now the drains on the bottom of Blacksmith way have to deal with Blacksmith way/Amberly road and HALF OF THE VILLAGE!

How many times do we have to be flooded for you to realise! We flooded on the 16th August 2022 you came and did the same the next day cleared the gullies and completed the report saying no issues since being cleaned!! Of course there wasn't cause it didn't rain now on 4th September 2022 we had heavy rain for 10 mins and outside our homes beginning to flood then on the 6th September 2022 after a short heavy rain fall we have the same issue! So if the gullies where cleaned two weeks ago how can you say the issue has been dealt with when we are flooding again!

The Emergency phone line states calls are recorded so why don't you listen back to them
