Huge Pothole & Massive Puddle / Flooding
Reported via mobile in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 12:35, Thursday 15 September 2022
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3827428.
There is a huge pothole by the entrance to the field which is also the access point for a footpath.
As seen in the photos the pothole is so large and deep that when there is heavy rain it causes a massive puddle and flooding and you are forced to walk through it when using the footpath.
The turning can also not be used by vehicles as a passing point due to the severity of the pothole.
The pothole needs repairing and resurfacing and either a drain installing or a way of channelling surface water to the nearby ditch needs to be installed.
Thank you for reporting a fault. Officers will now investigate the concerns and this may take up to 5 working days. If you believe that your concerns are urgent then please phone us.
