Repaint lines

Reported via desktop in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category by Northamptonshire Highways at 11:12, Fri 16 September 2022

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3829534.

I have been witness to an increasing number of drivers, using the right hand lane from Corby to Kettering, to proceed down the A43. This is actually a hatched area that is supposed to prevent this. Either they don't see this or chose to ignore it to try and pass everybody else. Can this area be repainted or some other means to prevent accidents or serious road rage.

  • PLEASE will you attend to this exceptionally busy and potentially dangerous roundabout as soon as possible ….and repaint the almost non existent white lines…and fill in the pot holes too. The amount of traffic that don’t quite stay in their supposed lanes is scary and especially when one is next to a huge lorry. I have reported this numerous times in the past. This really needs updating as a priority. Thank you.

  • You have repainted the lines at this roundabout INCORRECTLY.

You have painted both lanes as having straight ahead AND right turn arrows.

This means that someone in the left hand lane could follow the road markings and attempt to turn right across a live lane which is going straight ahead.

This is an URGENT PROBLEM which needs correcting as soon as possible.
