Pothole in public footpath.

I live with my 71 year old husband on Northampton Road.

A short while ago, we were walking along the road aiming to visit the local Co-op when he stumbled into a pothole on the footpath, badly twisting his ankle.

I had to assist him in returning to our house as he was in a great deal of discomfort.

This footpath is essential for many local residents, especially the elderly and parents of young children accessing the nearby school.

I have taken a photo of the damaged pavement. However, the pavement on Northampton Road has been dug up so many times, it is fair to say the photo could have been taken in many places along the length of pavement.

The damaged footpath is on the opposite side of the road to Nos. 98/100 Northampton Road.
